Your Role at a Glance

Operational Excellence

Lead all operations: air & sea freight, customs broking , warehousing, and transportation
Ensure compliance with Indian and international logistics regulations
Leverage ERP systems for streamlined processes (Logisys experience a plus)

Business Growth

Build and manage your own customer portfolio
Drive new client acquisition and retention of key accounts
Identify regional growth opportunities and expand our market footprint

P&L Ownership

Lead the Mumbai branch’s financial strategy
Ensure profitability, budget control, and cost-effective operations
Negotiate competitive vendor contracts and rates

Team Leadership

Mentor, motivate, and manage a high-performing team
Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability
Champion team development and performance improvement

Customer Success

Ensure top-tier client service and satisfaction
Handle escalations with confidence and speed
Actively use customer feedback to enhance services

Compliance & Risk Management

Enforce adherence to ISO, SOPs, and regulatory frameworks
Stay ahead of risk and industry changes through proactive planning

Requirements:

A Graduate with 15+ years in Freight Forwarding/Logistics (with at least 2+ years as a Branch Manager)
Proven record of owning a branch/regional P&L
In-depth knowledge of global logistics, trade, and customs processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

I started my career in the year 1983 in the liner shipping industry, and moved forward to start my own company ‘Tricon Shipping Pvt Ltd’ in 1992 providing end-to-end logistics service in Chennai, India. With 15 of branches across India, the company had a very prominent national reach; we achieved great success and a lot of international recognition.

Executive Director

E C Mathew brings with him 23 years of experience in international freight forwarding & end-to-end logistics services. An Executive MBA, he is also a qualified Customs Broker /IATA-DG. Having worked in an MNC for 10 years as the regional head – sales and operations, he moved to an Indian logistics company where he was heading different verticals of logistics supply chain successfully for air freight, sea freight and land transport. As part of the Management team at Ryan Logitech, he is responsible for the overseas networking, business acquisition, sales development and marketing.

Director - Network Development

Avinash Rangamani brings with him a decade of international experience in logistics and freight forwarding. After completing his Under Graduation in France, following which he did his MBA in Australia specialising in Sales and Marketing. He then worked for one of the most successful and the oldest logistic service providers in Europe and was based in Austria for 9 years. He has now joined Ryan Logitech Pvt Ltd and leads the business development and National Key Accounts for the company.
